Methods For Accessing Wind Power Integration In Hydro Based Power System
Keywords:

In the realm of renewable energy for electrical generation, wind energy is the current "star." Despite this, due to the unpredictability of their major source of electricity, the power provided by wind turbines is typically inconsistent throughout time. This exacerbates the challenges of integrating a large number of wind turbines into electricity networks, making their contribution more difficult to control The integration of wind power into the electricity system is increasingly a concern in order to maximise resource use and maintain the high rate of wind generating capacity installation that is required to meet the goals of sustainability and supply security. The key technological issues related with the integration of wind power into power systems are presented in this study. Effects of wind power on the power system, power system running costs, power quality, and power imbalances are among the challenges. In addition, the paper will discuss strategies for improving wind power generating management and increasing its penetration in overall electrical energy production.
