Abstract

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a fibrin matrix rich in platelet cytokines, growth factors, and cells, capable of gradual release and functioning as a resorbable membrane. Easily derived from a patient’s own blood through a simple centrifugation process, PRF represents a biologically active concentrate of growth factors that significantly enhance wound healing and tissue regeneration.

PRF is widely used across multiple disciplines of dentistry for repairing lesions and promoting the regeneration of dental and oral tissues. One of its particularly promising applications is in the management of non-vital immature teeth, where conventional treatments may fall short. This poster highlights the regenerative potential of PRF in endodontics, focusing on its role in apexogenesis and regenerative endodontic procedures.
