Abstract

The present study wasbe conducted on 100 cases of craniocerebral trauma coming to Krsnaa Diagnostics Civil Hospital, Sangrur. In every case a thorough physical examination and historywastaken and Computerized Tomographywascarried out toknow theextent of head injury.This study aimed to evaluate and compare outcome in cases of head injury according to Glasgow Coma Scale and CT Scan head. An attempt was made to predict outcome in cases of head injury according to Glasgow Coma Scale and to assess whether a relation exists between CT scan findings and outcome. Lastly it was studied that whether or not CT scan findings add to prognostic information provided by Glasgow Coma Scale. Glasgow coma scale of each patient was calculated at the time of admission and then after initial assessment and resuscitation.
